"Artists around the world" bloghop

Welcome to the artists around the world bloghop!
You must be visiting from the wonderful world of Eva Twinkles who invited me to join this bloghop!

I love her beautiful hand-painted style.

As a part of this bloghop I need to answer these 4 questions--

1. Why do I do what I do?

I do what I love to do! Design, paint, scribble, make. My passion is my profession. I have worked as a textile, pattern and product designer for the past 15 years and it just keeps getting better.
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?

Coming from India and living in Sweden these past 7 years, my work is a mix of my Indian heritage and the simplicity of scandinavian design. I love sketching all thats close to life. From trucks to trees, from the embroidery on my mother's kantha sarees to birds..inspiration is everywhere. 3. How does my creative process work?

My creative process is a mix of medias--pencil drawing to water colors to vector drawings. Every design has its own personality and thus the difference in choice of media.
4. What am I working on now?

I have recently worked on these 2 vectors for the minted design challenge..if you log vote for me ;)
